Title: IMAGEWORKS NAMED EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR OF YOSHIDA PANOURA 18S DIGITAL PANORAMIC IMAGING SYSTEM
(Elmsford, NY, August 25, 2011, - ImageWorks (OTC Pink: IWKS), the leading provider of imaging products to the dental, medical and veterinary marketplace, today announced the completion of an agreement with the Yoshida Dental Mfg. Co. Ltd. for the distribution of their Panoura 18S. ImageWorks will begin distributing the Panoura 18S, a digital 3-in-1 panoramic x-ray system, on September 1, 2011. ImageWorks will have exclusive distribution rights for the Panoura 18S in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and will also distribute the product on a non-exclusive basis across Latin and South America. The company indicated that it had previously distributed the Panoura Ultra, an analog predecessor of the Panoura 18S, for a number of years and that the product was extremely reliable and well-supported.

We look forward to showing this new unit at the upcoming dental trade shows."The Panoura 18S packs a lot of technology into a small footprint, utilizing a high-end CMOS sensor that can be transferred to an optional cephalometric arm. With a user-adjustable focal trough, errant images can be brought back into focus after acquisition. At various speeds, the Panoura 18S can take a quick pan of 6 seconds, up to a 16 second pan for maximum resolution. In the near future, ImageWorks will introduce the 3D upgrade component for a multiple field of view imaging. The Panoura 18S is bundled into an aesthetically pleasing package that enhances the appearance of any office.
