Co. Ltd. for the distribution of their Panoura 18S. ImageWorks will begin distributing the Panoura 18S, a digital 3-in-1 panoramic x-ray system, on September 1, 2011. ImageWorks will have exclusive distribution rights for the Panoura 18S in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and will also distribute the product on a non-exclusive basis across Latin and South America. The company indicated that it had previously distributed the Panoura Ultra, an analog predecessor of the Panoura 18S, for a number of years and that the product was extremely reliable and well-supported.

Officially released at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting February 26, 2009, the VGi offers exciting new features including an increased field of view (FOV), improved patient positioning, additional modes with scan size and resolution options, as well as overall enhanced image quality. VGi is available in a fixed unit for offices, or in a mobile unit, making a mobile imaging center an option for any group practice or community.
NewTom VGi, with a 50% larger field of view, captures a full volume of the dento-maxillofacial region providing full cephlometric images which are vital to orthodontists. The VGi also incorporates a "High Resolution Zoom" mode (HiRes Zoom) that collimates the region of interest and captures images at twice the resolution of standard scan. The redesigned patient positioning of VGi features a comfortable motorized chin rest, and positioning lasers. May 5, 2008 - (Elmsford, NY) - AFP Imaging Corporation (OTCBB: AFPC.OB) is proud to announce a 25% reduced scan time on its NewTom VG Cone Beam Scanner. The NewTom VG is an upright or vertical generation (VG) CBCT scanning system allowing patients to sit, stand or remain in a wheelchair while being scanned. The newly reduced scan time lessens the likelihood of patient movement, allowing practitioners the ability to take higher-quality images. These shorter scan times and higher-quality images means less retakes and potentially faster, more accurate diagnosis for both the patient and practitioner. Patients have to remain still for shorter amounts of time, which is especially ideal for children and infirm patients. A shorter scan time, plus the familiarity of an upright, panoramic-style machine increases patient acceptance and comfort.

Significant investments are being focused on the development of a dedicated Customer Center. Both of these facilities are under development at the company's Elmsford, New York headquarters where the company currently develops and manufactures its vertically-integrated EVA Digital X-Ray Sensor, 810 Film Processor, and MiniMed Film Processor product lines.
